‘Sing for Spring’ Youth Workshop


Hereward Harmony are proud to offer young people a chance to sing a song in the ‘barbershop-style’ of 4-part harmony. Our free workshop welcomes all young people between 8 and 26, both male and female.

Aims of the day

• Warm-ups - vocal and physical
• Posture
• Breathing
• Learn the song for the day
• Finish the session with a tag or two

Performing the song

• You learn about how to deliver a good performance during the day
   
• You get to perform the song with your group and Monkey Magic at the Sing for Spring 2009 show later in the evening at the Fleet Centre and you get to see the rest of the show for free!
   
• You get a FREE complimentary ticket for the evening show!

The workshop will be run by two very experienced facilitators with the assistance of Hereward Harmony members. We have a Children & Young Persons Protection Policy in force and a copy is available upon request.

You will need to bring a packed lunch and something to drink. There will also be plenty of bottled water on site.
